

Leeds Playhouse is a theatre in the Quarry Hill area of Leeds. Opened in 1990 as the West Yorkshire Playhouse and rebranded in 2018, it is one of the UK's most successful and active producing theatres. The building houses two auditoria - the Quarry Theatre and the Courtyard Theatre - presenting a diverse programme of drama, comedy, musicals, and family shows. The theatre is also a major hub for theatre education and community engagement, with extensive outreach programmes and the Bramall Rock Void studio space for experimental work.
