User Roles & Permissions
Understanding who can do what in groups and events.
Non-Member
Can view public group details but cannot see private content, events, or discussions.
Member
Can view all group content, join events, and participate in discussions.
Host
Trusted members who can help organize events. Has the same permissions as members but designated as trusted community leaders.
Organiser
Can create and manage events within the group. Can assign members as hosts for their events.
Owner
Full control over groups and events. Can assign roles (Owner, Organiser, Host, Member) to other users. Multiple owners are allowed.

How do I join an event?▼
To join an event:
- Browse events on the Events page
- Click on an event to view details
- Click the "RSVP" or "Join Event" button
- You'll receive a confirmation and event reminders
You can manage your RSVPs from your profile page.
Is Social for Life free to use?▼
Yes! Social for Life is completely free to use. You can:
- Join unlimited groups
- Attend events
- Create your own groups
- Discover local venues
- Connect with your community
There are no hidden fees or premium memberships required.
How do I contact support?▼

Can I cancel my RSVP?▼
Yes! You can change or cancel your RSVP at any time before the event starts. Simply:
- Go to the event page
- Click on your current RSVP status
- Select "Not Going" or change to "Maybe"
We encourage you to update your RSVP as soon as possible so organizers can plan accordingly.
How do I report inappropriate content or behavior?▼
If you encounter inappropriate content or behavior:
- Use the "Report" button on the content or profile
- Provide details about the issue
- Our moderation team will review within 24 hours
